And further this examinate sayeth that whilst he did lie in prison, he hath seen Mistress Taylor go down unto the the lower prison divers and sundry times where the said Susan did lie, and would pull and shut the loft door after her, and stay sometimes a quarter of an hour before she came up again, and sometimes less.

And he this examinate sitting at sundry times in the window in the loft, did see that if any person did come towards the grate where the said Susan did lie, that then presently the said Mistress Taylor would come up the stairs again into the loft where this examinate was. Bu[t] he did never hear any [c]onference between the said M[istress] Taylor and the said Susan, p---e would always pull to th---- after her.
