Imprimis do you not know of heard

Clement Whitfield her next neighbour? And whether did not the said Anne Taylor say, that she would be even with the said Master Whitfield, or some of his, or that she would warrant you that she had touched them – meaning the said Master Whitfield or his late wife, or some of his household – or words to that effect? Declare your knowledge therein. Or what words did you at any time hear the said Anne Taylor say, concerning the said controversy between the said Master Whitfield and the said Master Taylor and his wife?

Item. Did not you at any time demand of her the said Anne Taylor, or say unto her, in what sort will you touch the said Master Whitfield or any of his? And did not the said Anne Taylor tell you, or say unto you, that I warrant you I have sent one a messenger, I warrant you, that will touch them, or words to that effect? And how long is it sithence that she used such speeches, and was it not before the death of Master Whitfield’s first wife?
