3 Item. Do you not know or have heard of certain brimstone and gunpowder that should be given unto the spirits by Susan Swapper or by your daughter Mistress Taylor or by yourself? Where was that brimstone and gunpowder had, and whether did not your daughter know thereof or what matter or thing can you say or have heard concerning the same gunpowder and brimstone?
4 Item. Did not you at any time demand of old Stephen Frencham’s wife, or of any other person, in Master the time of Master Hamon’s sickness,
How he did? and you being answered by Goodwife Frencham, or some other person,
That now, God be thanked, he is somewhat amended, did not you then reply and say,
